BANJALUKA – The Administration for Indirect Taxation (ITA) of BiH reminds interested parties that there are still seven days left until the deadline for applying for one of the 50 available jobs, published in the public advertisement for the admission of trainees.

Namely, with the new budget for the year 2024, the ITA has been enabled to receive 25 economists, 15 engineers and 10 lawyers who will be assigned to the Main Office of the ITA in Banja Luka, and in the regional center.
“Thus, the opportunity was given to law graduates, economists, but also mechanical, electrical, IT, traffic engineers and technologists to acquire their first practical knowledge and skills in the most important institution for fiscal stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The interns will perform tasks for the purpose of training for independent work within their profession and gaining the necessary work experience for passing the intern, i.e. public exam“, the ITA of BiH announced.
By the way, according to the valid Rulebook on the internal organization of the ITA, 3,319 jobs are prescribed, and currently 2,365 employees are employed.
The personnel structure is one of the challenges facing the ITA, especially considering the age structure of employees, where 19 percent of employees are 60 years old or older, and 49 percent are 50 years old or older.
In addition, in 2023 alone, 242 employees stopped working in the Administration due to retirement or leaving the institution, while in nine months of 2024, 65 employees stopped working in the ITA, on various grounds.
In the next few years, a large number of ITA officials will retire.
“For this reason, it is extremely important that the ITA receives 50 young and educated people, so that in the coming period of one year, they will take over a large part of the experience and knowledge of colleagues who will soon retire, and thus become the future bearer of the most important business processes in the system of indirect taxation in Bosnia and Herzegovina“, say the administration.
Since even after the reception of 50 trainees, the Administration will still not be filled in accordance with the approved budget funds, it is planned that by the end of the year two more public advertisements will be announced for the reception of new executors with the necessary work experience.
