It’s official: the new Xbox headset is out, here’s what you need to know about it –

Although Microsoft’s new product is very similar to its predecessor, it also has improvements.

Microsoft last came up with an in-house designed headset in 2021, after the debut of the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, and it’s now in short supply – but one of the more reliable industry leakers, Billbil-kun, Dealabs via the site recently delivered the rumor that Redmond will soon present the successor of the mentioned headset, which will not be a limited edition related to a game, or new color versions of the previous product, but will also receive improvements.

Billbil-kun then claimed that the new headphones will be released in Europe on October 22nd, when Microsoft will make the formal unveiling, while it will debut in North America on November 5th. And the insider was not wrong this time either, as the announcement was made today.

According to the company’s statement, the updated headphones received Dolby Atmos support (there is also Windows Sonic and DTS Headphone:X), improved battery life (which offers up to 20 hours of playtime), improved microphone (with more advanced automatic mute and sound isolation), and with Bluetooth 5.3 support (of course, there is direct pairing with Xbox consoles). Although the Xbox Series S and the new white Series X console would have given themselves a matching color, the all-black design remained. You can admire it below:

The updated wireless Xbox headset has not yet appeared in Hungarian digital stores, but considering the price of 110 dollars (this is understood without taxes), it is expected to be over HUF 40,000.
