The short video, lasting about nine minutes, explained how the company will upgrade the console, in its new version, after Cerni first talked about the power of the PS5 in its first release.

Everything has been upgraded, especially the graphics, and it’s no coincidence that Cerny insisted on how game creators have been able to take advantage of the PS5’s capabilities and deliver impressive results, all of which can be unlocked through a more powerful console.
He talked about the separate graphics modes, such as the one that aims for a higher frame rate, which is what Cerny said the majority of gamers prefer. However, such modes lower the resolution and graphics quality in order to succeed better result in the frame rate we see on the screen.
So we learn that the new version of the console will have an increased GPU, faster memory and so, will render 45% faster. Cerni then informed that the PS5 Pro will see improved Ray Tracing.
Finally, he announced that the new console will feature machine learning hardware, an online library called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), which will analyze game images pixel-by-pixel and aim to add detail to increase the resolution that we see with our eyes.
Existing games are expected to be supported by the capabilities of the PS5 Pro console.

The new console will cost 799 euros, according to the presentation. The PS5 Pro will be released on November 7, 2024, as stated in a related announcement. Pre-orders will begin on September 26th.
Dimensionally, the new model looks exactly like the original PS5, and gamers can even add an Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive or change console covers when they become available.
Included in the package is a 2TB SSD, a DualSense wireless controller, and a copy of Astro’s Playroom pre-installed. The PS5 Pro is available as a discless console, with the option to purchase the Disc Drive separately.
