If the city people can often enjoy a vacation in the beautiful summer, the peasants have their hands and feet full of work. Of course, this was also the case when instead of farms there were state farms and collective farms in our country. Younger people may not know what the difference was between them. Some were state-owned enterprises, others operated on a cooperative basis. In essence, there was no difference, the Communist Party tried to manage the activities of both. The less there was in charge, the better the work was done and the better the lives of simple country people.
