Jaguar has published the first photos of its future electric model. The zero-emission GT will be launched in 2026

Jaguar intends to become a purely electric brand from 2025. Also then we will see the first model of the new era of the British manufacturer, a purely electric GT.

Until then, the concept that will be the basis of that car is to be presented early next month, during Miami Art Week. Before presenting to the general public the concept that will foreshadow the first model of the three with which the company wants to reinvent itself, Jaguar has published three photos of a camouflaged sedan.

The three images show us what appears to be a full-size sedan with a slim profile, but which combines flowing lines with square proportions for the front end. right Carscoopsunder the thick camouflage is the yet-to-be-named Jaguar model, which will usher in a new era for the British manufacturer.

We don’t have long to wait to see what’s under the camouflage, though, as Jaguar will unveil its new concept on December 2, 2024, in Miami. The brand will present during Miami Art Week a concept for its new electric model, entitled Design Vision Concept. Although the name of the upcoming model is yet to be confirmed, there are reports that the car is to be called the ‘I-Type’.

From the first images we can see the aggressive, square front part, but also the generous proportions of the car. Also, the pronounced rear wings emphasize the sporty character of the car and contribute to the profile that wants to take us to the thought of a feline ready to attack.

As for the technical specifications of the upcoming model, Jaguar has only said so far that the car will produce at least 575 hp and will be able to travel around 700 kilometers on a single charge. It will also have a starting price of over 100,000 euros.
