The Länsi-Uusimaa police continue the investigation in a case where a man is suspected of having committed a murder with a firearm in Henttaa, Espoo. The police have questioned the suspect.

The police have now interrogated a man who is suspected of having committed a murder in Espoo’s Henttaa on October 13. He has said that he shot the victim with a shotgun and caused the victim’s death. The victim and the suspect had been in a relationship. Based on the interrogation, the motive for the crime was the end of the relationship between the victim and the suspect. The emergency center was called by a friend of the couple, who came to check the situation after being worried that he had not been able to contact the victim.
The firearm used by the suspect is a hunting shotgun. The man had a permit to possess a gun in Norway.

The suspect is in police custody and the police will demand that he be arrested. With the investigation, the crime title has been refined to murder. The reason for the title change is that the deed is suspected to have been done with sound judgment and in a particularly brutal and cruel manner.
The investigation continues with hearings and a technical investigation
The investigation now aims to clarify the picture of the background of what happened and the course of events at the time of the crime. For this purpose, the police interview witnesses and the suspect and carry out a technical investigation.
