Journalists’ exchange of views with the new Police Superintendent of Chandpur

An exchange meeting with local journalists was held with the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Chandpur, Muhammad Abdur Rakib.

The meeting was held in the conference room of the district police super office on Friday (September 20) afternoon.

In the speech of the president in the meeting, the Superintendent of Police said that there will be no bribery or corruption in any office of the police administration of the district. In this case zero tolerance policy will be adopted. Many people come to the police for service work. In this case, action must be taken against any official of any level if there is a complaint of financial transaction. He will not be exempted in any way.

Regarding the juvenile gang, the SP said, we will create a separate database for the juvenile gang. If there is someone involved in this work before, I will work by looking at their database. Later they will be brought under punishment.

Regarding the movement of auto-rickshaws in the city, the SP said, “We will consult with the municipality regarding battery-operated auto-rickshaws.” In this case two colors can be done. One color of which can run in the morning and the other in the afternoon.

In the context of drug eradication, the new SP said that our campaign to eradicate drugs will continue. All those involved will be brought to justice.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Finance and Administration) Sudipta Roy, president of Chandpur Press Club Shahadat Hossain Shanto and representatives of various print and electronic media working in the district were present in the exchange meeting.

At the beginning of the discussion meeting, the new police superintendent Muhammad Abdur Rakib was welcomed by the journalists with flowers.
