Metropolitan Jubo League leader accused of attacking students in anti-discrimination movement in Chittagong. Ershad Alam (40) was arrested by the police.
He was arrested from Shankar Dewanjirhat area under Chandgaon police station of the city on Sunday (December 5) night.
Arrested Md. Ershad Alam (40) son of deceased Ibrahim of North Chandgaon Bepari Para area. He is known to be a close associate of former Chandgaon ward councilor Esrarul Haque Esral.
Chandgaon police station in-charge (OC) Md. Aftab Uddin said that he was in hiding since the fall of the government on August 5. Legal action is being taken against him.
