K Bank announced on the 6th that President Woohyung Choi participated in the ‘Child Abuse Prevention Relay Campaign’ to spread a positive parenting culture.
The child abuse prevention relay campaign began with the purpose of raising awareness about child abuse, respecting children as they are and protecting them from abuse. It has been underway since last May under the auspices of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the National Institute for the Protection of Child Rights.
Anyone interested in preventing child abuse can participate in this campaign. Anyone can participate by taking a photo with the campaign image and posting it on social networking services (SNS). Additionally, when participating in the campaign, participants were asked to nominate two people as the next participants, helping to spread the culture of child abuse prevention.
President Choi Woo-hyung participated in this campaign after receiving a recommendation from Hana Bank President Lee Seung-yeol. K-Bank plans to widely publicize President Choi’s participation in the campaign using K-Bank’s official SNS.
In addition, President Choi recommended Kakao Bank CEO Yoon Ho-young and Toss Bank CEO Lee Eun-mi as participants in the next campaign.
President Choi Woo-hyung said, “It is meaningful to be able to participate in a campaign to create a positive nurturing environment and prevent child abuse,” and added, “We will continue to support the dreams and hopes of children with our executives and employees so that they can grow into leading figures of the future generation.” said.
Meanwhile, K Bank has set ‘child support’ as its main keyword for social contribution and has been carrying out social contribution activities to support children’s healthy growth and digital education.
In May of this year, 30 million won in donations raised through the employee walking donation campaign was delivered to support the raising of children in low-income grandparents’ families, and last year, 190 PCs and digital equipment, including AI coding robots, were provided to children’s welfare facilities to support children’s IT education. .
