A car dealership specializing in the sale of used cars Kamux says that it will open a new store in Herttoniemi, Helsinki, and that it will close several stores in Finland and Sweden.
In addition to the closures announced earlier this year, Kamux now says it will close its stores in Jämsä and Helsinki’s Konala by the end of the year. In Sweden, Kamux says it has closed the stores in Gävle and Uppsala.
In addition, Kamux has combined the Ylivieska store with the Kokkola store, which has moved to larger premises.
On a net basis, Kamux’s number of stores continues to decline, Inderes analyst Rauli Juva sums up Inderes on the discussion forum.
“There are still some stores in Sweden that are not doing well, which are being considered for closure unless we find ways to reverse their development”, Juva estimates.
The current year has been challenging for Kamux, and the company issued a negative profit warning earlier in December.
According to the updated guidelines, the company’s estimate of the current year’s adjusted operating profit is 11–13 million euros, while previously the company had estimated it to reach 15–17 million euros.
