Kan Chom Power helps a 3-year-old child after his mother locked him in the house to take drugs with his friends.

Kan Chom Phalang traveled to Thanyaburi Police Station to lead a team to help a 3-year-old boy after a neighbor sent him a clip showing the mother, who appeared to be hallucinating from drugs, frequently locking the boy in the house overnight. The mother was acting crazy, destroying things in the house and throwing bottles regularly, fearing that the child would be harmed. The father, who was over 70 years old, who used to live with the boy, had to go live somewhere else. Sometimes the mother left the house for several days and locked the door from the outside, leaving broken glass and tiles strewn all over the floor, fearing that the child might be harmed.

Therefore, they met with Pol. Col. Jirawat Phiampinset, Superintendent of Thanyaburi Police Station, Mr. Ronakorn Paowasijaran, Thanyaburi District Chief, Ms. Uraiwan Sukhonan, Thanyaburi District Chief, Ms. Arirat Naruedompong, Pathum Thani Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office, before traveling to the house in Village No. 3, Lam Phak Kut Subdistrict, Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani Province, which was the house where the incident occurred.

Before helping the 3-year-old boy who was inside the house safely out before taking him in the PMO van to travel to Thanyaburi Police Station to check his body, record the daily record and take him to be cared for at the children’s shelter in Pathum Thani Province. At the same time, the police officers persuaded the mother until she found out her name, Ms. Chutima, 37 years old, to come out of the house before taking her to Thanyaburi Police Station to take legal action and test her urine, but initially she claimed that she could not urinate.

Kan Chom Phalang revealed that for this case, he came to help the child to be in a safe place and away from the irresponsible mother. For the next step for the child, the shelter staff has taken the child into care. As for the mother, she must pass the staff’s assessment first to see if she will be able to return to live with her child or not. If it is considered unsafe, the shelter staff will not let the mother take care of the child. As for the mother, if drugs are found in her system, she will be given the choice of voluntarily undergoing treatment or taking legal action for drug use.
