Stefanos Kasselakis had a meeting with the Metropolitan of Nea Ionia, Gabriel, with whom he discussed a series of issues concerning the local community. Afterwards, Mr. Kasselakis was given a tour of the Ionian Center in Nea Ionia, a landmark project for the Holy Metropolis of Nea Ionia, Philadelphia, Heraklion and Chalcedon.
The Ionian Center is important not only for the city of Nea Ionia, but also for the Hellenism of Asia Minor everywhere. Stefanos Kasselakis was accompanied by the secretary of the SYRIZA Parliamentary Group, Theodora Tzakri.
The “Ionian Center” is expected to be a valuable meeting point for the residents and visitors of the area. Its facilities include the Youth Conference and Cultural Center, which has an appropriately sized Funeral Home, as well as a Hospitality and Gathering Center.
The amphitheater deserves special attention, which has a capacity of 400 people, making it ideal for various events and activities. Conference Center parking, nursery school, homes, hospitality, the Holy Church of Agios Georgios Neapolis, Museum of Asia Minor Hellenism.
These infrastructures will contribute to the cultural and social life of the region, offering opportunities for education, meetings and entertainment.
