The Princess of Wales Kate Middleton announced in a long message published on Monday evening on social networks the latest developments regarding her state of health.
The princess posted a video in which she said the “kindness, empathy and compassion” she received was “truly humbling”. The entire family, including her husband Prince William, 42, and their children Prince George, 11, Prince Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, appear in the footage.

“At the end of the summer, I can’t tell you how relieved I am to have finally finished my chemotherapy treatment,” Kate Middleton wrote on Monday in this message published on social media.
“The last nine months have been incredibly difficult for our family. Life as you know it can change in an instant, and we had to find a way to navigate these tumultuous waters and unknown roads,” she writes.
New hopes in the royal family
Princess Kate said she will continue to “take each day as it comes” but the road to a full recovery still remains long. Prince William’s wife also stated that she hopes to make an appearance at royal events as soon as possible.
“The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those close to them. Humbly, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you’ve never considered before, and with it a new perspective on everything,” says Kate.
