The official opening of Kayseri Airport’s new terminal building will be held tomorrow with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu. Minister Uraloğlu, in his written statement, said that the official opening of the new terminal building of Kayseri Airport will be held tomorrow. ‘NEW TERMINAL BUILDING 51 THOUSAND SQUARE METERS’

Providing information about the completed works, Minister Uraloğlu stated that the terminal building, which was 22 thousand square meters, was increased to 51 thousand square meters. Uraloğlu stated that within the scope of the project, they increased the apron area from 43 thousand square meters to 132 thousand 500 square meters and the parking area for 9 aircraft to 18.new terminal With our building, we offer larger and more comfortable spaces to both domestic and international passengers. Within the scope of the project, we built a 605 square meter CIP building at Kayseri Airport. We increased the domestic departures lounge to 4 thousand 470 square meters and the international departures lounge to 3 thousand 175 square meters. “At Kayseri Airport, the domestic arrivals hall has an area of ​​1495 square meters, the international arrivals hall has an area of ​​1975 square meters, and the greeters hall has an area of ​​1380 square meters,” he said.

Minister Uraloğlu stated that the increase in passenger capacity will also contribute to the tourism and economy of the city and said, “Kayseri, which brings together history, culture and gastronomy, is also a trade city.
