KB Kookmin Bank (CEO Lee Jae-geun) announced that it held the ‘KB Pension Conference’, an event inviting DB retirement pension customers, with the theme of ‘DB reserve management strategy’.

About 300 DB retirement pension managers participated in this conference, which was held under the title ‘Grey: Nothing is certain’. At this event, DB reserve management strategies in an uncertain market were discussed as central banks in each country began to cut base interest rates.

In Part 1, Youngjun Ahn, senior consultant at KB Kookmin Bank, introduced the market outlook according to the period of interest rate decline and the year-end DB reserve management strategy to prepare for 2025. In Part 2, Jeon Yeon-kyung, manager of KB Asset Management’s Global Multi-Asset Office, presented on the mid- to long-term economic outlook and asset allocation strategy.

The conference was held in Busan on the 18th and Seoul on the 25th, and KB Kookmin Bank plans to use the conference as an opportunity to further expand contact points with DB retirement pension customers.
