KB Kookmin Bank, ‘Lunchtime intensive consultation’ nationwide expansion to increase customer convenience < Economy/Finance < Article

KB Kookmin Bank (CEO Lee Jae-geun) announced on the 23rd that it will expand the number of branches operating ‘lunchtime intensive consultation’ to 41 nationwide.

‘Lunchtime intensive consultation’ is a system in which all employees at individual general counters work from noon to 1 p.m. to process business quickly and smoothly during lunchtime. KB Kookmin Bank has been conducting a pilot program at five branches, including Gyodae Station and Seosomun, since December of last year so that customers can leisurely conduct banking business during lunchtime.

Customers who visited the branch during the pilot operation period showed high satisfaction with the ‘lunchtime intensive consultation’. The satisfaction level of the ‘lunchtime intensive consultation’ pilot operation branch was 84.6 points, which was 3.5 points higher than the general branch (81.1 points). 97% of customers responded that ‘lunchtime intensive consultation needs to be expanded.’

Based on the positive survey results, KB Kookmin Bank decided to expand the implementation of ‘lunchtime intensive counseling’. Customers can use ‘lunchtime intensive counseling’ in 41 locations nationwide, including Seoul and the metropolitan area, as well as Busan, Gwangju, Gyeongbuk, and Chungcheong. Branches that operate ‘lunchtime intensive counseling’ will additionally deploy branch staff to minimize inconvenience to customers visiting before and after lunchtime.
