KB Kookmin Bank (CEO Lee Jae-geun) announced that the short film ‘How to Open a Door’, produced with actor Kim Nam-gil, will be released exclusively at Lotte Cinema on the 20th of next month.

‘How to Open a Door’ is a short film that tells the story of ‘Haneul’, a young man preparing for independence, who struggles to find a home after his home, which was his first step toward independence, disappears overnight. Kim Nam-gil, actor and CEO of KB Kookmin Bank and Gilstory, a culture and arts NGO, produced it with the intention of supporting young people preparing for self-reliance.

The short film ‘How to Open a Door’, which was invited to the Busan International Film Festival last October and successfully completed a film screening and GV (Guest Visit), is scheduled to continue its popularity with an exclusive release at Lotte Cinema on the 20th of next month.

In addition, KB Kookmin Bank released the main poster of ‘How to Open a Door’ along with the confirmation of its release. The main poster is an illustration design, and artist Park Eun-hyun, who designed many performance posters and the cover of director Park Ji-wan’s essay collection, participated in the design. The poster included the phrase ‘The first world I open’ and various materials that appear in the movie, such as an ATM, a car, and a yellow bird, were expressed as artwork.
