Mr. Chinkorn said that even though Tropical Storm Zurich has weakened into a depression, to be on the safe side, the province has urged all districts not to be careless and to prepare for various situations fully and continuously. Throughout today, Mueang Khon Kaen District will be monitoring the flood situation in the area by surveying crocodile farms to inspect and urge crocodile farmers to be stable and strong, to control and monitor the crocodiles, and to check the number of crocodiles to prevent the problem of crocodiles escaping from their farms during floods. “In Mueang Khon Kaen District, there are 7 crocodile farms that are still operating, with 97 crocodiles. All farms are stable and strong, with stable and strong crocodile pens, and all farms are not in flooded areas.”
