Kia presents electric concept cars at the 2024 SEMA Show

The Korean manufacturer Kia is presenting electric concept cars at the 2024 SEMA Show: the Kia EV9 Advntr EV electric SUV, and the Kia PV5 Wkndr EV electric camper van.

Imagined by the designers of the Kia Design Center America (KDCA), the concept-cars Kia EV9 Advntr EV and Kia PV5 Wkndr EV are aimed at outdoor leisure enthusiasts.

Kia EV9 Advntr EV Concept: a large adventurous electric SUV at the 2024 SEMA Show

The Kia EV9 Advntr EV Concept is a large, 100% electric SUV with 3 rows of seats, designed to go off the beaten track: it is presented as being the most adventurous SUV that Kia has ever imagined. It has been fitted with specific front and rear faces which present a unique and robust look, as well as reinforced rocker panels for added character and solidity.
The Kia EV9 Advntr EV Concept has also been raised by 76 mm compared to a standard EV9, to offer better ground clearance to tackle all terrains, in addition to large wheels equipped with all-terrain tires.
The roof rack Customized can accommodate numerous equipment, such as standard luggage compartments, or even tailor-made roof tents, allowing you to transform the EV9 Advntr into a real car perfect for outdoor escapades.
The Kia EV9 Advntr EV Concept is accompanied by the Kia PV5 Wkndr EV Concept, a 100% electric campervan offering great versatility, and with matching livery.

Kia PV5 Wkndr EV Concept: a versatile electric camper van

The Kia PV5 Wkndr EV Concept is based on the PV5 utility van, from the PBV range (Purpose Beyond Vehicles) of electric utility vehicles recently launched by the brand. This concept was transformed into a off-road converted vandesigned for long weekend escapes into nature. It is distinguished by an imposing and robust look, as evidenced by its wheels equipped with all-terrain tires, as well as its specific front shield equipped with a winch.
On board, we find a modular interior flexible and adaptable, allowing you to benefit from both space and functionality. It includes a swivel front seat allowing it to be transformed into a comfortable armchair, a lounge area at the rear, as well as numerous storage solutions.
For sleeping, the model is equipped with a lifting roofwhich also houses solar panels allowing batteries to be recharged for many uses, such as on-board compressor allowing you to inflate tires, or even inflatable mattresses for camping at night.

The Kia EV9 Advntr EV Concept and PV5 Wkndr EV Concept are currently presented at the salon SEMA Showwhich opens November 5-8, 2024 in Las Vegas.
