Kiabi strengthens its presence in France with a new store in Millau

Kiabi continues its development in France with a new point of sale in Millau (12). This inauguration is part of the brand’s 2024 roadmap, which aims to consolidate the market in France.

The children’s fashion brand Kiabi is continuing its expansion in France and is opening a new point of sale in Millau, in Occitanie. Recently voted “Favorite Brand of Children’s Fashion Families”, The brand plans to inaugurate this new store on September 18, in the heart of the Intermarché shopping mall.

The gallery is located in the Cres shopping area, which was chosen by the brand for a number of advantages. Among them, its strategic positioning at the entrance to the city, a location in a dynamic shopping area, easy access and immediate proximity to the A75 motorway. This new franchise, made up of a team of eight people, will offer a wide range of clothing for the family. In addition, several services will be available to customers, such as click and collect, a loyalty card program, the Baby Booklet and an alterations service.

The brand plans to deploy a communication plan around this opening, including the distribution of leaflets and a reinforced digital presence on Facebook, Instagram, as well as on the Kiabi website.

An opening in line with Kiabi’s 2024 roadmap

As a reminder, in 2023 Kiabi opened 64 new points of sale in and established itself in two new countries (Egypt and New Caledonia). The brand aims to continue to deploy its stores, but prefers to take its time to avoid the ephemeral “flagship” effect. By the end of 2023, she had prepared around ten files to open a contact point in Paris, but finding good rental values, aligned with its ambitions, is proving complicated.

The brand, however, planned to open new markets. Thus, It opened its first store in Georgia in April 2024 and a franchise in Kuwait in June. In digital format, it also made its debut in Asia by joining the Myntra marketplace, an Indian e-commerce site where it offers its products for men, women and children.

Thus, this opening in Millau is part of this France development plan communicated by the brand at the end of 2023, other openings are therefore planned for the end of the year.
