Sharon Horgan is an Irish actress, screenwriter and director, known for, among others, thanks to the series “Catastrophe”, “Motherland” and “Rzanie”. Some time ago, it established cooperation with Apple, as part of which the series “Sisters na Zabój” appeared on Apple TV+. As previously announced, the premiere of its second season took place today.
The first season of the series “Killer Sisters” was based on the Belgian series “Killer Clan” from 2012. Sharon Horgan is not only the author of the series, but also plays one of the main roles in it. The other sisters are played by Anne-Marie Duff (including “Suffragette” and “John Lennon. The Boy from Nowhere”), Eva Birthistle (including “Brooklyn” and “Breakfast on Pluto”), Sarah Greene (including .including “Cop” and “Horror House”) and Eve Hewson (including “What Conceals Her Eyes” and “Robin Hood: The Beginning”). In the second season, the cast also included: Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward and Peter Claffey.
The second season of the series “Killing Sisters” will consist of eight episodes, however Apple made only the first two of them available on Apple TV+ today. More will be added to the service’s catalog every week on Wednesday.
