Kim Chang-ok, a communication expert, gave a heartwarming experience by personally attending the wedding of a person who was abused by her stepmother and separated from her father who supported her.
On tvN STORY’s ‘Kim Chang-ok Show 3’ broadcast on the 26th, comedian Hwang Je-seong said, “It is said that Mr. Kim Chang-ok attended the wedding promised in Season 2 last year.”
Mr. A, who said he was greatly hurt by his father, appeared in the first episode of ‘Kim Chang-ok Show 2’, which aired last winter.
A said, “I was abused by my stepmother when I was 13 or 14 years old. “When I reported it to the police, the only witness was my father, but my father took my stepmother’s side and said, ‘I never did anything like that,’ so it ended without punishment,” he said, revealing his sad family story.
She then shed tears, saying, “I cut off ties with my dad, but I was worried about the number of guests ahead of the wedding.”
At the time, Jihye Lee asked, “What would you think if your father came to you and apologized and said, ‘I’m sorry?’” The storyteller responded, “I received a call from my father a few years ago. “I thought, ‘Why don’t you try to say sorry to me now?’ so I got a call from him and he said he had forgiven me,” he said, describing his father’s incomprehensible attitude.
Mr. A expressed regret by saying, “It was my fault for reporting it at the time, and my dad forgave me, so we can get along without a problem, and he said, ‘But he’s my dad, so wouldn’t it be okay to do that (isolation)?’”
After hearing this, Kim Chang-ok asked, “Where will the wedding be held?” and promised to attend, saying, “If there is no concert that day, I will go.”
Although the seasons have changed several times since the recording ended, Kim Chang-ok kept his promise. He personally attended Mr. A’s wedding held in Jeonju last October and also sent a wreath. He watched the wedding until the end and took a commemorative photo with the bride and groom.
Mr. A, who also attended the lecture that day, said, “When (Kim Chang-ok) came to my wedding, it was the happiest moment of my life. “I was happy and my heart was warm, as if my dad had come,” he said, expressing his gratitude.
He then delivered a gift of a tie along with a handwritten letter, saying, “You really took a lot of pictures with the guests.”
