Kingdom Come: Delivery fans and backers who supported the game’s development on Kickstarter, please check your email inboxes. Perhaps they contain thanks from Warhorse in the form of access to the second part of Kingdom Come Deliverance II.
The studio decided to thank the backers who decided to back the Kickstarter campaign ten years ago by sending them an email with a reward of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II for free on the platform of their choice.
With this email he bragged about income an Interinactive user whose post is accompanied by a screenshot from an incoming email. There was a debate in the comments section about which of the players with which subscription tier received this email and which did not. The author of the post contributed €150 (tier Duke) and received access to the game for free.
The community also confirmed the distribution of the game for free as a thank you with their Facebook post Collectors Universe CZ/SK, who, with a contribution of €360 (tier King), also received a thank you email with the game. User Dr-Fusselpulli, the alleged community manager of Warhorse, also joined the debate. He specified the amount of the subscription (tier) to get the game Duke and higher.
“These are not all backers, but only high-level backers who had a pledge that also included Act II. Even though we canceled Acts and KCD1 was much longer than the intended 20 hours, we still think KCD II comes close to our Act II promise to backers at the time.” reads a comment by Dr-Fusselpulli, Warhorse Community Manager.
Users with Earl tier (author’s note: where I fall too) and below probably won’t get the game for free. Even so, years later, this is a nice gesture by which the studio gives back to its supporters and fans.
