Kiss Norbi once again hammered the truck Eb field

The European Truck Championship continued with two more races in Le Mans, two more races followed. Kiss Norbert and his team, a Révész Racing after the excellent race day on Saturday, he could start the day on Sunday knowing that he could defend his title with a race weekend before the end of the season.

The Hungarian pilot was also the fastest during qualifying, he took his 12th pole of the season and was one second better than his rival, Jochen Hahn, so he could start from the first place during the first race. The formula was simple, if Norbert Kiss finishes before the German, he is already European champion.

The start went well, although Hahn tried to brake very late in the second corner, but the Hungarian driver kept his first place. From then on, the defending champion, also supported by MOL, continuously increased his lead and finally confidently won the race with an advantage of almost five seconds ahead of Hahn and Sascha Lenz. This meant that Norbert Kiss is a six-time individual champion, and Révész Racing is now a four-time European champion as a team.

“The start was good, although at the beginning Jochen Hahn tried to brake with an impossible maneuver, it also happened to me a bit, but luckily we survived the corner and from then on I had a smooth race. The victory resulted in a championship title, which we are very happy about! Thank you to Révész Racing and the owner Bálint Révész, because we were very strong at the beginning of the season and won the races in a row, and afterwards we were also the fastest, we won the 20-point races respectively. I am proud of our performance this year – Norbert Kiss said after the wave. The EB series ends on October 5-6 in Jarama.
