“Congratulations, President-elect Donald Trump, on your victory! Romania is a strong and committed strategic ally of the USA. Through our joint efforts, we will bring peace and prosperity to both our countries, and not only, defending our common interests,” writes Klaus Iohannis.
A similar message was sent by Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu.
“Congratulations to President Trump on this historic victory! I am convinced that we will work together to strengthen transatlantic relations and to take our Strategic Partnership to a new level, to which we will add a much stronger economic dimension. The leadership of President Trump will ensure the peace, security and prosperity of our citizens!”, Marcel Ciolacu writes on the X platform.
Donald Trump announced that he won the US presidential election.
“We had an incredible victory,” he said to his own supporters in Florida.
Victorious in the elections, Donald Trump becomes the second president to return to the White House after a one-term break. The first was Democrat Grover Cleveland.
