Despite the autumn cyber attack, the company managed to increase its turnover by 10% and the profit doubled, reaching nearly 8.5 million euros. Although the sales revenue remained close to the 100 million euro mark, Hirtentreu confirms that the past year was successful for them. There are several factors behind the success: more efficient production methods, introduction of green energy and strategic expansion to foreign markets.
