The Eunseong Medical Foundation, centered around Good Gang-an Hospital and Good Culture Hospital, has changed to a second-generation management system. Chairman Koo Jeong-hoe has stepped down, and his son Koo Ja-seong has taken over as the new chairman (CEO).

The foundation announced this on the 30th at the inauguration ceremony for the new chairman held at the Paradise Hotel in Haeundae, Busan. This medical corporation has a network of 11 hospitals, including acute care hospitals and nursing hospitals, in the Busan-Ulsan area.

The new CEO, Koo Ja-seong, graduated from Pusan ​​National University School of Medicine and is an obstetrician and gynecologist like his mother, Moon Hwa-sook (Good Culture Hospital). He completed an MBA program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and also worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.

On this day, he pointed out that “patients with serious illnesses are not receiving proper treatment due to the conflict in the medical field triggered by the issue of increasing the number of medical schools,” and said, “We will build a smart hospital utilizing various digital technologies such as AI to provide the best service to patients.”
