(Health Korea News / Yoo Ji-in) The Korea Institute of Pharmaceutical Safety and Risk Management will hold the 1st Director Recommendation Committee and conduct an open recruitment for the 5 new directors from November 5th to 18th.
The Institute of Pharmaceutical Safety and Pharmaceutical Safety is a public institution under the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety established in accordance with Article 68-3 of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act. As of November 5, 2024, it is currently operated by 195 employees and a budget of 25.9 billion won.
Main businesses include: ▲Collection, analysis, evaluation and provision of adverse drug cases ▲Development of drug use (DUR) information ▲Investigation and identification of causal relationships of drug side effects ▲Relief for damage from drug side effects ▲Operation of integrated drug information system ▲Operation of drug integrated information management center ▲ Performs tasks such as operating the Advanced Biopharmaceutical Regulatory Science Center.
The term of office of the Director of the Korea Drug Safety and Security Institute is three years, and supporting documents such as an application in the designated form, self-introduction, and job performance plan must be submitted in person or by registered mail (limited to those arriving on the deadline) by 6 p.m. on November 18.
The Director Recommendation Committee announced, “We plan to select candidates through the first document screening and second interview screening and recommend them to the Minister of Food and Drug Safety.”
