Will pink replace the immortal “rose gold”?
Rumors from reliable leaker OvO on Weibo indicate that the new iPhone 16 Pro will be available in pink. Interestingly, this is not the already known rose gold shade that debuted in the iPhone 6s model, but a completely new shade. Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo announced in May 2024 that the new pink color would replace the current blue in the iPhone 15 Pro line. This replacement may not appeal to men. I know many people who like the new blue shade the most. So it remains to count on both colors appearing on the housings of the new iPhones.
September premieres of new iPhones
Every year in September, like clockwork, Apple presents us with its new product line. This year’s premiere will be no exception. It is expected that, alongside the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, we will also see a new generation of Apple watches – Apple Watch Series 10, in which Apple Intelligence will play a key role.

Apple Insider, which broke the news earlier, has given the rumors a status of “Possible.” In other words, anything is possible, but not confirmed. Nevertheless, given the track record of accuracy in leaks from both OvO and Ming-Chi Kuo, we can be fairly certain that Apple is indeed considering a pink iPhone 16 Pro.
