A 10-year-old boy was injured on Sunday afternoon (24/11) in Lamia when a car ran him over in front of his parents.
The incident happened shortly before 19:00, in Galaneika, in front of the church of Agios Athanasios. According to the first information of LamiaReport, the child, in his attempt to cross the road running, actually fell into the back left part of the car, driven by a doctor.
There was a big disturbance at the scene with the doctor taking the child in the car together with the mother of the 10-year-old, who was at the scene, and taking him to the Lamias hospital.
Fortunately, the child’s life is not in danger, however, he will be transported by ambulance to the Children’s Hospital in Athens, since he reportedly has a broken leg.
The police officers of the Lamia Traffic Department are examining the exact circumstances under which the accident occurred.
