Land Rover is recalling 11,091 of its cars

Land Rover is recalling 8,083 Defender, Discovery, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Velar models built between 2023 and 2024 because the plastic housing of the oil filter can crack, causing oil to leak, which can even lead to a fire. In the recalled cars, the company will replace both the oil filter housing and the oil filter element.

At the same time, the British company is also recalling 3,008 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport with the V8 engine, produced in 2023, because there is a possibility that the pipes of the oil cooler have been attached incorrectly, which could lead to an oil leak.

In all affected cars, the company will check the fastening elements of the engine oil cooler pipes and replace them where necessary.
