Lanteka company focused on sheet metal processing software solutions, has released an enhanced version of Lantek v44, which is designed to improve manufacturing processes with the concept of “Connected. Live. Smart’. This latest update introduces a suite of innovations across 2D and 3D CAD/CAM software, manufacturing execution and enterprise resource planning systems.
With v44, manufacturers gain control over their manufacturing environment and take advantage of new features that integrate machines, streamline workflows, and improve data-driven insight.
CAD/CAM 2D – Lantek Expert
Lantek Expert v44 brings improvements designed to optimize 2D CAD/CAM workflows. The first is the Nesting by Properties feature, which allows users to group parts by attributes such as delivery date, customer, or other data. This new feature organizes parts for better packaging and assembly, but also offers the flexibility to separate or combine groups with the ability to insert residual lines for ease of cutting.
The new import assistant allows layer filtering in DXF/DWG files as well as removing unnecessary geometry during file import. Additionally, the Punch Swap in Turret Configuration feature addresses turret limitations by allowing users to use rectangular and square punches for operations performed with different sized tools, even when loaded at a different angle.
CAD/CAM 3D – Lantek Flex3D
Lantek Flex3D v44 features a redesigned part import process and job management/saving, offering greater system flexibility. For steel fabrication, the introduction of new parting techniques allows users to choose from straight, angled or Z-shaped cuts, including preparation for welding and gaps to maintain accurate dimensions after welding. Additionally, support for robotic cutting heads extends Flex3D compatibility to machines with more than five axes, including robotic devices.
Lantek MES
The introduction of Lantek MES Intralogistics optimizes the circulation of raw materials from the warehouse to the work centers. This improvement increases material traceability and minimizes errors. The new 3D Operations Finishing feature allows operators to register finished parts directly into the system without complex graphical nesting, simplifying scrap management. In addition, advanced lost parts management gives operators the ability to quickly rework or recover lost or damaged parts without having to restart entire workflows.
Lantek Integra
Lantek Integra v44 has a new Files Drag & Drop feature that simplifies file management and allows users to quickly add geometry files or documents directly to quotes, sales orders or tracking numbers. Additionally, the Material Scrap Price Definition feature offers more precise control over material cost calculations by allowing users to set specific scrap prices for different materials.
Lantek Bend
Lantek Bend v44 brings features aimed at increasing the automation, integration and efficiency of the bending process. The improved CAD import module now supports a number of native CAD file formats and uses the Hoops library to automatically recognize materials, thicknesses and bend lines. In addition, the new Starmatik Export feature extends Lantek Bend’s robotic programming capabilities by exporting bend line data to DXF format for use in Lantek Expert. Deeper integration with Lantek Expert, MES and Integra systems turns Lantek Bend into a fully connected solution that allows users to seamlessly open, edit and synchronize 3D files across all systems. This integration simplifies data management, provides real-time updates and improves efficiency in dimensioning and manufacturing.
