An alarm was sounded on Wednesday night (07/11) at the Larissa Fire Service, after a fire at a gas station.
Specifically, at the gas station located at 110 Iroon Polytechniou Street, a fuel tank caught fire, resulting in injury to a person.
As reported by onlarissa.gr, the injured man is being transported by private car to the on-call General Hospital of Larissa.
In addition, four fire engines rushed to the scene as did the station commander. Firefighters managed to put out the fire before it spread, while there was a tanker at the scene, but luckily the worst was avoided.
It is worth noting that in the neighboring apartment building there was already a fire brigade to extricate a person from an elevator, so when the incident happened at the gas station, the firefighters rushed immediately, while the rest of the water tankers also arrived afterwards.
