Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said today that he has no idea how the newly elected US President Donald Trump will solve the crisis in Ukraine.
– I can’t imagine how Trump will solve it, we will wait for the proposals – said the Russian minister, TASS reported.
He added that Moscow regularly emphasizes that any politician who supports peace and not war deserves attention.
– But we do not know what exactly will be proposed, our position was clearly formulated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a speech at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on June 14 this year – said Lavrov.
On the eve of the recent elections in the USA, but also after the victory, Trump said that after taking over the presidency, he would work to end the war in Ukraine as quickly as possible.
