Lawsuit against Anti-Flag dismissed, but the process against the singer for sexual abuse continues

Anti-Flag disbanded in 2023 after allegations of sexual assault against the frontman surfaced Justin Sanea (real name Justin Geever) by twelve different women. the same year, Kristina Sarhadi filed a lawsuit against Anti-Flagthese companies Hardwork Distribution Inc. due to alleged carelessness and causing emotional stress; as well as against himself Geevera on charges of assault, physical/sexual assault and willful infliction of pain.

Hardwork Distribution Inc. is owned by members Anti-Flag groups: Pat Thetic (Patrick Bollinger), Chris Head i Chris No. 2 (Chris Barker).

Judge Brenda K. Sannes from New York on December 18 made a decision to reject Sarhadiher lawsuit against Hardwork Distribution Inc., citing a lack of linking evidence Geeverove procedures with the company. “Given that the First Amended Complaint is even weaker in its allegations against Hardwork, Hardwork’s motion to dismiss is granted,” the decision reads in part.

Lawsuit against Geevera which she submitted Sarhadi remains in effect. Full text of the decision you can find here. Geever has not yet responded to the lawsuit and he may have left the country in early 2024.

Sarhadiher lawsuit was filed under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, which was signed into law by the governor Kathy Hochul 2022 and opens a one-year period for victims of sexual violence who were over the age of 18 to sue their abusers regardless of when the abuse occurred.

Sarhadi initially made accusations against Geevera in a July 2023 episode of the podcast Enough. Sarhadi claimed that it was her Geever sexually assaulted her in October 2010 when she was 22, saying in part: “It was the most terrifying experience of my life. I can’t stress enough how violent he was and how completely I believed I was going to die, that he was going to kill me.”
