Leaked: Kamala Harris may come up with new economic plans

The previously unpublicized policies are expected to be unveiled in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. The reason behind the move is that undecided voters, especially in key swing states alive, they expect more information about Harris’s economic plans.

“It’s not just about affordability, it’s about showing (voters) that there is a way to create prosperity,” said one source with direct knowledge of Harris’ economic plans.

The sources did not provide specifics about the new proposals, and Harris’ campaign declined to comment. However, during the previous presidential candidacy of the vice president and the administration of Joe Biden, similar objectives have already arisen.

Harris suggested earlier

  • raising the salaries of public school teachers,
  • reducing the gender pay gap, as well as
  • support for minority businesses.

Kamala Harris is expected to follow Joe Biden’s policies. According to them, his economic policy would focus on high housing costs, taxes, and the costs of small businesses. But there may also be talk of increasing the tax allowance for children and raising the corporate tax rate to 28%.

According to some consultants

announcing new economic policy so close to an election can be risky.

“Usually a campaign finishes convincing voters by September and moves on to mobilizing people, but this is not a typical campaign,” one source noted.

The Reuters report highlights that a Financial Times-Michigan Ross poll showed 44% of registered voters this month had confidence in Harris’ economic management, compared to 42% of Trump supporters.
