‘Leaked renders show Samsung Galaxy A26 with new design’

Samsung’s Galaxy A26 has not yet been announced, but can already be seen in leaked images. You can expect this.

‘Samsung Galaxy A26 seen in razor-sharp renders’

Anyone who keeps an eye on the latest Samsung news knows that the manufacturer is taking a different path with its smartphone designs. From the Galaxy S23 series onwards, Samsung designed phones with separate cameras on the back. We have recently seen a new design for the cameras on many leaked Samsungs, including this Galaxy A26.

The new design gives the A26 a camera island containing three lenses. We expect it to involve a main camera, wide-angle lens and macro camera. The rest of the design also looks modern. The sides are flat and space has been made for the so-called ‘Key Island’. That’s a subtle bulge for the volume controls and power button.

The screen has a size of 6.64 inches, slightly larger than its predecessor. And although the design of the phone looks modern and premium, the screen edges immediately give away that it is an affordable smartphone.

The phone has a so-called notch at the top of the screen and the bottom edge is thicker than the other bezels. All in all, the new design looks cool.

Alleged specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A26

Now that we know what the Galaxy A26 will look like, we can only speculate about the internal hardware. The smartphone previously appeared in benchmarks. This shows that it runs on an Exynos 1280 chip with 6GB of RAM. However, this data is not always reliable.

It remains to be seen whether the smartphone runs on Android 15. Samsung will probably launch its latest version of Android in January 2025. This Galaxy A26 is reportedly already in stores before then.
