The Chinese car manufacturer Leapmotor announces the launch of a new model on the Romanian market. The new C1o electric SUV can be seen at SAB 2024.
Just one week after the debut of the Leapmotor brand in Romania and the launch of the brand’s first model, the T03, the new Leapmotor SUV was unveiled at the Bucharest Auto Show (SAB), held from October 1 to 6, 2024, in Pavilion B2 of Romexpo.
The C10 SUV is the first Leapmotor product created for the global market, meeting international safety and design standards. The D-segment SUV is aimed at families who want to make the step towards electric cars, but are also looking for sufficient interior space.
With a length of 4,739 mm, a width of 1,900 mm, a height of 1,680 mm and a wheelbase of 2,825 mm, the C10 should meet the requirements of a family even with several children. The exterior has a rounded design, complemented by full-LED optical blocks and the dumbbell-shaped grille.
How much does the Leapmotor C10 SUV cost in Romania?
Inside, the car is equipped with two screens. One measures 10.25 inches diagonally and is used for the instrument panel, and the other, 14.6 inches, is used for the multimedia system. The C10 model uses sustainable materials such as cellulose to reduce carbon emissions by 30% during production.
The interior also offers practical solutions, such as the hollow support console under the front armrest, ideal for storing small items or charging portable electronic devices, and the dual cup holder, which includes internal spring elements for better practicality.
The Leapmotor C10 uses a single electric motor that produces 218 hp and 320 Nm. The battery capacity is 69.9 kWh, for an autonomy of up to 420 km WLTP. Charging from 30%-80% at DC stations takes 30 minutes.
AutoGreen Motor, the importer of Leapmotor in Romania, opens orders for the C10, at the special launch prices of 39,805 euros including VAT for the STYLE version and 41,705 euros including VAT for the DESIGN version, valid until the end of the year. The first orders will be delivered to customers starting in October.
