Big performance in a small body. That’s exactly how the Yoga Portal model from Lenovo could be described. In the Mini-PC box, we find desktop components, including a socket and a graphics card.
Mini-PC following the example of the Intel NUC series, the offices are full. These computers usually offer laptop-like performance, as we find chips designed for portable devices. However, Lenovo did not take this route with Yoga Portal. At the same time, there was no noticeable increase in dimensions. The box with dimensions of 195 x 203 x 108 mm does not deviate much. At the same time, components familiar from desktops beat inside.
Yoga Portal (in the world the computer will be called ThinkCenter Neo Ultra) goes on sale in China and in the only configuration so far offers Intel Core i7 14700 and RTX 4070. It is not a laptop graphics or processor. In the case of processors, this is already clear from the name. For the graphics, Lenovo simply chose a shorter PCB, which is normally available. However, the graphics are cooled by a special cooling block, so a potential replacement can be difficult.
Outside of China, a version with up to Intel Core i9 14900 and RTX 4060 is expected to reach the market. The processor will be stronger in this version, but the graphics will be weaker compared to the Chinese counterpart. Both versions will also offer an M.2 slot designed for an NPU card. Users can easily swap RAM and storage.
The price tag was set at approximately CZK 58,000 for the Chinese version with Core i7 and RTX 4070, 32 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD. A number of variants will be sold in the world, from the model with Core i5 14500 to the aforementioned top model with Core i9 14900 and RTX 4060.
