Previously leaked laptops are the Yoga Slim 9i (14″, 10) equipped with the world’s first under-screen webcam, and also the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable equipped with the world’s first pull-out screen.
As expected, Lenovo has announced a number of new laptops and other novelties at the CES 2025 fair. The first non-Valve console-class computer with the SteamOS operating system was also included.
Lenovo’s new Legion Go S will be available in two versions, “(8″, 1)” and “(8″, 1) – Powered by SteamOS”. As you can already interpret from the names, the former is equipped with Windows and the latter with SteamOS. The novelties of the handheld console class are equipped with an 8″ 1920×1200 resolution (16:10) and 120 hertz PureSight touch screen and either AMD’s Ryzen Z1 Extreme or Z2 Go processor, the latter of which, according to the company, is their exclusive use. LPDDR5x-7500 memory can be installed in the machine at a maximum of 32 GB and it has support for the Wi-Fi 6E standard, two USB4 connections and a microSD card reader. The capacity of the 3-cell battery is 55.5 watt hours.
At the same time, the company also presented the Legion Go (8.8″, 2) prototype model, which continues the same special name, which will be available with a Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, an 8.8″ 1920×1200 resolution and a 144 hertz OLED PureSight touch screen that reaches a maximum Up to 500 nits brightness and supports variable refresh rate. Even the larger model can get 32 GB of LPDDR5x-7500 memory at best. In addition, ergonomics have been improved in the prototype compared to the previous one. The battery capacity is stated to be 74 watt hours.
At the event, Lenovo also officially announced previously leaked laptops, i.e. Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i (14″, 10) and ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable. Yoga Slim 9i (14″, 10) is equipped with the first laptop on the market with a web camera hidden under the screen and a 14″ 4K resolution and 120 hertz PureSight Pro OLED screen. The processor in the laptop is Intel’s Lunar Lake architecture Core Ultra 7, which means it meets Microsoft’s CoPilot+ requirements.
As you can already guess from the name, ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable is equipped with the first pull-out screen on the market, which has a standard size of 14″ and a fully extended 16.7″. The resolution of the display is not mentioned, but it is based on a 120 hertz OLED panel that reaches 400 nits of brightness. The new ThinkBook also uses a Core Ultra 7 processor of the Lunar Lake architecture and thus meets the CoPilot+ requirements.
