Lexar SL600 Portable SSD Review

We reviewed and tested the Lexar SL600 SSD, which is suitable for production work with high read and write speeds.

Fast Read and Write Speeds

If you are recording to an extra storage unit with a camera or a phone, one of the first things you should pay attention to is the reading and writing speeds. Lexar SL600 will be very useful in video production works with its 2000 MB/s reading and writing speeds. However, if you want to use the SSD at its full speed, your device must have a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 port. Since this is not a very common port, we can consider this as a minus. If you are looking for an external disk for file, video or photo storage, you should look for models with lower speeds and higher capacity.

Easy to Carry and Stylish

Weighing only 64 g, Lexar SL600 has a very stylish and classy design. It has a hard plastic, graphite gray case that looks like metal. There is a section so you can hang it on your keychain or bag.
