LG has unveiled a gaming 480Hz OLED monitor at a premium price

LG introduced the new UltraGear gaming monitor. 27GX790A-B is certainly not one of the cheap pieces, but it offers really interesting specifications.

The premium 27-inch gaming monitor will offer a resolution of 1440p and a high refresh rate of 480 Hz. LG it will bring the DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, which will reduce the brightness to 400 nits, but it should be replaced by an OLED panel with per-pixel dimming. DCI-P3 then reaches 98.5%. Of course, there is support for both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

In terms of connectivity, it will offer a DP 2.1 monitor, two HDMI 2.1, jack and USB ports. LED strips on the back of the monitor and a robust stand design are also prepared for gamers. This is definitely a premium car, which is also indicated by the price set at less than 1000 dollars.
