LG has expanded the UltraGear series with three new monitors; when developing the displays, the engineers kept the players’ needs in mind. The first and most important feature of the monitors is that the IPS panel in them is capable of a response time of 1 ms, which, in combination with the 144-240 Hz image refresh rate, enables perfect motion display.
The “fastest” member of the trio is the 27-inch 27GN750 capable of 240 Hz image refresh, which also supports HDR10, NVIDIA G-Sync and Adaptive-Sync. The display comes alongside the previously presented 27GL850 and 38GL950G, which are only now available on the European market; an additional bonus of these monitors is that they have a nanocell IPS panel, thanks to which they are able to cover 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. The version equipped with a smaller display is capable of a 144 Hz refresh rate, and the larger one has a maximum refresh rate of 175 Hz.
LG has not yet revealed the exact availability and price of the monitors, but it is certain that the displays will arrive soon.
