The Korea Communication Awards is a marketing awards ceremony that evaluates the customer communication index of companies and public institutions through the country’s only digital platform. It is hosted by the Korea Internet Communication Association (KICOA) and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea.

Earlier this year, LG U+ unveiled its new brand slogan, ‘Growth Leading AX Company,’ which symbolizes its intention to become a company that grows with customers through the transition to artificial intelligence (AI). Since then, we have been carrying out the ‘ixi production’ project, which uses our self-developed AI ‘ixi’ in all areas of marketing to communicate with customers.

Through the project, we have spread a variety of AI experiences that customers can actually experience. The participatory event ‘Iksi will draw’, which is created by AI when customers describe the image they want on Instagram, received a great response with over 35,000 people participating.

In May, it was the first in Korea to present a TV advertisement created solely with AI, without filming equipment, models, or space arrangements. This advertisement recorded over 13.29 million views. The AI ​​wallpaper service, which uses AI to instantly create a smartphone background image when a customer inputs a prompt, has attracted over 40,000 responses over the past three months since June.
