Residents of the village of Elgino in the Leningrad region are complaining about disruptions in public services. Houses regularly lose power, there is also no heating, centralized water supply or wells, which is why residents are forced to use water from the local river, reports the press service of the information center of the RF IC.
There are also problems with transport in the village. Thus, since the beginning of this year, the fare for the only route bus has doubled.
Residents turned to the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, with a request to understand and help solve problems.
He took control of violations of control rights and instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Leningrad Region, Sergei Sazin, to present a report on its results.
