LINE OpenChat Release new features “Thread” It helps to increase the chat space for specific topics that are discussed in the main open chat room on the LINE application, making it more fun and in-depth, without having to worry about affecting or disturbing the conversation on the main room screen anymore. No more problems with “interrupting” or disrupting the conversation atmosphere.
- How to create a thread: Just long press on the message in the main room, select “Thread” and start branching out into a conversation on that topic. This can be done by all users, not just group admins.
- How to view threads: Select the thread icon in the top right corner of the main open chat room page or the icon below the message to go to the thread summary page.
- How to set favorite threads: Click on the favorite icon (star) on the right corner of the thread to mark it as a favorite or remove it from your favorite threads. If you created the thread or sent it, it will automatically be marked as your favorite.
It can be said that this is a feature that helps support the increasing number of conversation messages and members of open chat rooms. It eliminates the problem of not being able to keep up with various matters in the group, which can lead to missing important details. - Features support LINE version 7.0 and above.
- The thread will be deleted if the original message is removed from the conversation history of all group members.
- Threads can be created from messages sent within 24 hours.
- Threads created more than 2 weeks ago will not be able to send new messages in them.
