Lisbon on the rise with EDP group in the lead – Stock Exchange

The Lisbon stock exchange started the last session of the week in positive territory, with the reference index, the PSI, advancing 0.75% to 6,396.30 points. Of the 15 main listed companies, nine recorded gains, four losses and two remained unchanged.

Leading gains was EDP, with the parent company gaining 3.27% to 3,419 euros. Energy released its accounts on Thursday, having achieved profits of 1,083 million euros until September, 14% more than in the same period last year. The value marks an all-time record in terms of profits in the first nine months of the year.

I and EDP ​​​​Renováveis ​​​​rose 2.47% to 11.21 eurosdespite having seen profits fall 53% in the first nine months of the year, and having been, in the previous session, also pressured by the victory of Donald Trump in the USA, who intends to reduce support for offshore wind. As a result, several investment houses decided to review downwards the prospects for EDP Renováveis ​​​​performance over the next twelve months.
