Luke Littler has taken the world by storm, and now the 17-year-old Englishman can add darts’ finest title to his CV.
That much is clear after Littler defeated three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen on Friday night and won the World Cup final 7-3 in sets.
Before the WC, Littler had won ten tournaments in his first year as a professional and earned over nine million kroner in prize money.

Van Gerwen put pressure on Littler in the seventh set and reduced again, but in the eighth set Littler did not look back.
The 17-year-old Englishman thus took a clean set and is thus the youngest winner of the World Cup ever.
