Rough, tense and uncertain are these days before another year that does not resemble a “sweet shop”! All are shivering with chills, and some even announce a frozen hope!
All that remains for me is to greet the New Year with a cake on the table and a bottle of sparkling wine produced according to a traditional method. I don’t say “Romanian champagne” so as not to upset the French. The Romanian “Clipa” is a lesser-known brand, but it stands out among them all as a treat from Domaine Coroanei Segarcea, a Romanian production with a gold medal in Monte Carlo. From 2024, the Cornelia and Mihai Anghel family also produces “Clipa” according to the classic methods with which the French produce champagne. This year, “Clipa cea rara” was recognized and awarded a gold medal at home in France.
Among so many bad signs, “Clipa” is a sign of success, talent, trust, a feat of pride, a good wine to spend holidays and the nights between years.
Besides the bad and among many wonderful things, we also do quite a few exceptional things that light up our lives and that we can be proud of and enjoy at least at home.
“Clipa” is almost like a fragrant kiss for a night that leads to rougher trials.
After the moments between the years, with or without the “Moment” from Segarcea, there follow days, weeks and months of struggle, moments in which we must put our character to the most terrible trials.
Happy New Year 2025! There are moments of tension, of justice, of honor, of pride, moments of great responsibility.
And then we have to say to ourselves:
– Live in the moment and live up to it!
