On the occasion of the death of the former president of the Budva Municipality Assembly and a long-time well-known tourist worker, Budva resident Ljubomir Ljuba Radjenović, the Municipality of Budva organized a commemorative session in the assembly hall.
“Ljubo worked twice in the Municipality of Budva, in the period from 1978 to 1982, in the position of President of the Executive Board of the Budva Municipality Assembly, as well as from 1985 to mid-1986, performing the function of President of the Budva Municipality Assembly. In the mentioned periods, Ljubo did not hesitate to face challenges, he was ready to take responsibility when it was most difficult. Today, as we express our deepest condolences to his family, friends and all who knew him, I invite everyone to remember his character, not only in words but also in deeds. May his legacy inspire us to continue working with the same passion and determination he displayed. Dear Ljubo, thank you for everything you have done for Budva, your legacy will continue to live on through work, ideas and visions for the prosperity of Budva”, said the vice-president of the Municipality of Budva, Jasna Dokić.
The former ambassador and long-time director of HG “Budvanska riviera” Ivo Armenko, deputy of the Democratic Party of Socialists Nikola Milović, and his son, former president of the municipality Lazar Radjenović, said goodbye to Rađenović.
Ljubomir Ljubo Rađenović was born on October 25, 1948 in Prijevor, in the municipality of Budva. He completed elementary school in Budva, secondary agricultural school in Bar, while he graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, University of Novi Sad.
When it comes to his work biography, from 1976 to 1978 he was the director of OUR “Slovenska plaža”, after which from 1978 to 1982 he was the chairman of the Executive Board of the Municipality of Budva, and from 1982 to 1985 he was the director of “Slovenska plaža” “. In the period from 1985 to 1987, he was the president of the Budva Municipality Assembly, and from 1986 to 1989, he was a delegate to the Council of Municipalities in the Assembly of the Federal Republic of Montenegro. In the period from 1987 to 1990, Rađenović was the director of HTP “Budvanska Riviera”, while from 2007 to 2015 he was the deputy executive director of HG Budvanska Riviera.
He left behind his wife Mirijana, sons Lazar, Ilija and daughter Jelena.
